May Festival 2020
A Unique 6-day event open to ALL – A Great Success The Scarborough Bowls Festival 2020 will attract competitors from all over the region. This unique 6-day event will take place from Sunday 3rd until Friday 8th May 2020 and is open to ALL age groups and ALL abilities.
Scarborough Bowls Centre is the only location in England offering both crown green and indoor bowling on the same site. As a result, the tournament is unique as everyone has the chance to play one or both codes. There is full access for disabled people to all facilities at the Scarborough Bowls Centre. The Festival, opens on the Sunday with a Pre-Festival Mixed Doubles Crown Green Competition.

Fun for All the Family
The Centre boasts eight indoor rinks of world-class standard, after a major refurbishment in 2003 which included the installation of a laser-levelled green as well as glare-free lighting.

Adult – £6.50 per hour £8.50 for two hours
Junior – £2.50 per hour £3.50 for two hours
(under 18 accompanied by a paying adult)
Juniors free with two full paying adults (on the same rink)
Prices include the hire of shoes and bowls
Outdoor Crown Green
Adult – £3.00 per hour
Junior – £1.50 per hour
Family – (2 adults, 2 Juniors) £7.00 per hour
Full Green £30.00 per hour
Prices include the hire of bowls, jack and mat
Short Mat
Adult – £3.00 per hour
Juniors (under 18’s) £1.50 per hour
Prices include hire of bowls and shoes
